Addiction Psychiatry: Methadone & Buprenorphine

Q. Which of the following statement is WRONG?

(a) Methadone is a pure opioid agonist & Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist.
(b) Methadone & Buprenorphine are primarily metabolized by CYP 3A4 pathway.
(c) Methadone is standard of care for pregnant opioid dependent women.
(d) Buprenorphine must be initiated before patient demonstrates s/s of opioid withdrawal.
(e) One of the Admission criteria for Methadone Maintenance Treatment (MMT) is 1 year verifiable history of narcotic dependence.
(f) All of the above are CORRECT.

I would encourage everyone to participate. Very important topic.
