Significance of Loxapine and Glycosuria ?
Hi Friends
I have this doubt regarding one of my patient I saw recently.
Pt was started on Loxapine (50mg daily in divided doses) and dose was titrated slowly to 100mg (in divided doses) over >1month time.
Patient later reported difficulty in urination (delayed urination), but denies dysuria, burning urination, fever or abnormal vital signs. Urine Analysis was normal except for Urine Glucose of 100.
What is your experience with use of Loxapine and Glycosuria, and what is the significance.
Also if someone can explain the mechanism.
Thanks
